Bay State Classic - January 7 - 9 2011

The Level 4s had the honors of another bright and early check-in time of 7:45 at  the            Bay State Classic on Saturday, January 8th 2011. Fortunately the meet was close by in MA and the weather was mild. Also in the good news department, a portion of the meet fees were donated to Breast Cancer Research.

Olivia and Jenna competed in the Child Division and stood proudly side by side on the podium placing 3rd (Olivia) and 4th (Jenna) AA. Both of their high scores were achieved on vault. Jenna received a 9.150 and Olivia a whopping 9.3. Olivia also received a 9.0 on floor! Both girls received high 8s on beam. Olivia finished the meet with the team’s 4th highest AA (35.2) . Awesome job girls!

Siera and Rachel competed in the Junior Division. Siera placed 2nd with a whopping 36.725 AA and Rachel placed 5th with a whopping 35.8 AA! These were the two highest AA scores for the team! Totally awesome job girls! Sierra received a 9.575 for her incredibly awesome vault and Rachel followed closely with an incredible 9.4 vault! Rachel also followed up with an incredibly awesome beam routine which was awarded a 9.550. Siera followed closely with an awesome 9.3 beam routine. Siera scored a 9.1 on floor. Very impressive ladies!

Hannah and Alexi competed in the Junior Plus Division. Both girls had 9+ vault scores completing the team sweep of 9+ vaults ranging from 9.1 to 9.575. Alexi received a 9.25 for her beautiful vault and Hannah received a 9.1. Hannah received a 9.275 for her awesome beam routine. Alexi followed closely behind with a 9.250. Alexi scored a high 8 on floor as well and finished the meet with the 3rd highest AA (35.575) for the team. Fantastic job gang!

The Level 4s placed 4th as a Team. With approximately 650 gymnasts from 23 gyms throughout New England competing, the competition was TOUGH!! Congratualtions girls! We are so very proud of you!!!! Thanks to Jenna's Mom for the scores and her Dad for the great pics!
